LG canceled the sales of the Watch Urbane 2 LTE LG canceled the sales of the Watch Urbane 2 LTE

Shortly after the second edition of the Watch Urbane appeared on the market shelves of AT&T and Google Store, the company demanded to stop the sales. The exact reason has not been specified so far, but the company said that the engineers 'were made aware of a hardware issue which affects the day-to-day functionality of the device'. Probably, it was something really serious, as the company didn't manage to come up with an appropriate solution and canceled the rollout. LG also said that all the retailers were notified of the issue, so anyone who bought the product will be granted full refund.

LG was to become the first company to offer Android Wear device with cellular connectivity, but as the release of the Watch Urbane 2 LTE was called off, and we do not know whether the company is going to make it available in future, other companies may have an opportunity to outdo the Korean tech-giant. Nevertheless, the previous generation of Watch Urbane is still a decent device, so if you are into classy smartwatch design, be sure to read Vlad's review of the Watch Urbane.
