About non-updating date. Day Widget is not under active development - changes in Android since it was first written have meant that on some devices the Widget does not update. Unfortunately I currently have no resource to investigate this issue. The app icon is not the widget! If you're looking at an icon that says "DAY WIDGET" then you're not looking at the Widget.

From the users' point of view, the plus of the app is an awesome design, although some people suggest that the weak point of this application is annoying ads.
