This app does not report Azimuth readings as a compass bearing (0-359 degrees), but as degrees (+ and -) from North. Plus degrees (+) are measured clockwise from North, minus degrees (-) are measured counter-clockwise from north! For example, an Azimuth of 165 degrees is measured 165 degrees clockwise from north. The result is 15 degrees to the East of true South. However, an Azimuth of minus 165 degrees (-165) is measured 165 degrees counter-clockwise from north. The result is 15 degrees to the West of true South!
