Update! - sorted the damn thing out, basically i had written in extra code that tried to be a bit too. Smart and ended up causing itself to make 2 connections when only 1 was needed. All removed. Auto connects from turning wifi on/off. Auto connects when the app is run. Now auto detects IP for first use and auto connects rather than telling you it finds it, it just does now.
