The most real view of the Earth! It is based on interpolating Whole Earth images provided by NASA's EPIC camera on board the DSCOVR satellite, located in the "L1" Lagrange point, 1 million miles from the Earth, on the Sun axis. This position, in a stable equilibrium between Earth and Sun gravity, gives us a permanent view on the fully-lit day-side of our planet.
