Samsung Health Care event: May 28
Samsung started sending out invitations for a health care event which is to take place in San Francisco on May 28. There is not much known about what Samsung is actually up to, except that «a new conversation around health is about to begin»

As you may know, Samsung has already made several steps in this field with its S Health app and software development kit. The latter allows developers to use the health info generated by the S Health app. And as the intended date of the event is a week ahead of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference, where Apple is said to announce its Healthbook, it seems that Samsung wants to take a tight grip on medical-related applications.
The speculations on integration of mobile devices into the medical care have been circulating among many of those involved in the system. Thus, we may expect these events to bring together not only mobile phone manufacturers and application developers, but also medical specialists of all kinds. We still can't say who will win the race, but it seems like medical care services might soon experience a real revolution.
