HTCaptain America's flagship
HTC One (M8) has been released. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is in theaters now. And while Marvel is excited about getting their fans to the cinema, HTC is actively campaigning to draw the public's attention to their new flagship smartphone. So why mention these two different events in the same article?
The two companies teamed up to announce a contest for both HTC and Avengers fans. The winner of the contest will get a special S.H.I.E.L.D. edition of HTC M8 smartphone with the logo on the back and a special 'shield' for the screen. Well, actually, the so-called 'shield' is just a warranty that will get you a new screen for free in case it gets cracked, nevertheless it sounds cool. Apart from this perk, the phone is no different to the usual HTC One (M8) version running Android 4.4. KitKat and packed with a 4 UltraPixel DUO camera, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 CPU and 2GB of RAM.
To take part in the competition, you should either post a Captain America-inspired cosplay photo on your Twitter with #superselfie hashtag or post it to the corresponding thread on HTC USA facebook page. Here are some photos that have already been submitted for the contest.
