Soon numerous smartwatch models will flood the market: LG G Watch and Motorolla Moto 360 are just a small part of the list. So Android developers have no time to sit on their hands. Android Wear is a smartwatch OS that is rapidly developing and today Timothy Jordan, Senior Developer Advocate at Google, shared some pictures of what smartwatch notifications will look like.

Whenever a notification comes to your smartphone, it will also be displayed on the screen of your smartwatch, saving you the effort of diving into your pockets. The origin of notification is shown either as a small icon in the top right corner of the notification, or as a background image.

Currently, Android developers are at the final stage of implementing the feature that will allow to view longer notifications switching the screens with left-to-right swipes. Just a small piece of code and it will be added to the smarthphone notification system.

To further stimulate third-party developers and help them implement the feature in their apps, Google shows the way the code works using an Android app that helps users to keep track of library books. So, if coding is your cup of tea, you'll probably enjoy this one.
