The LG G4 will be getting Android 6.0 next week
The Nexus devices have already started getting the update over the air, now the LG G4 is also on the list to get the new Android 6.0. According to the announcement, the G4 owners will be the first to experience the revamped 'Permissions', 'Do Not Disturb' and 'Doze' Mode, as well as the rest of the features of Marshmallow.
If we recall the previous year, when Lollipop was released, G3 owners were also way ahead of the others, and the rollout started in Poland as well. Some say that the tech giants tend to start releases with countries like Poland because it is much easier to see if everything works OK in a smaller user communities, others suggest that this might somehow be connected with taxes, but it's most likely to be both.
Owners of the LG G4 will start getting the OTA next week and it's quite likely that other LG handsets will receive the update shortly after that.
