Google Keep's latest update lets you pin important messages Google Keep's latest update lets you pin important messages

Google has just updated its Keep application, making it work better on the latest version of Android. Furthermore, the note-taking app now also offers a pinning feature that allows you to stick your most important items to the top of its content. The newest version of Keep is only available for those who use it from Android devices and has already rolled out, so you can get it from the Play store or wait until your phone automatically updates the application.

To use the new notes pinning functionality, all you have to do is to tap the pin icon that you will see when you're writing a note. Additionally, if you long tap one of your already existing notes, the same pin icon will show up, allowing you to stick that item at the top of the application. If you're lucky enough to have a device powered by Android Nougat, you will also be able to easily create shortcuts that will allow you to access specific Keep functions directly from your home screen. Lastly, those who own Pixel phones will benefit from the ability to pin the notes that they've created with Google Keep on their home screens.
