Leaked images and videos reveal the upcoming HTC One X9 Leaked images and videos reveal the upcoming HTC One X9

A Chinese website called Anzhuo (which translates as Android) revealed a lot of information about HTC's upcoming smartphone: ONE X9. In case you want to see how this new phone looks like, I've attached a gallery at the end of this story, so you can scroll down and take a look. If you're interested in a first impression, the phone looks pretty good and seems to have some OK technical specifications, but I'll reserve my final judgment for the time when I'll also know how much the device actually costs.

If you're interested in the technical details, HTC ONE X9 has a 5.5-inch screen (so it's more of a phablet than a smartphone), comes with a 13MP rear camera and offers optical image stabilization and 4K video recording capabilities. Under the hood, you will find 2 or 3 GB of RAM (depending on which version of the phone you choose), a MediaTek Helio X10 octa-core CPU, 16 GB of internal storage capabilities (expendable with a MicroSD card) and a 3,000 mAh battery. Additional advantages include dual-SIM capabilities (but from what I understand on the slots doubles as a MicroSD slot, which is a bit weird) and dedicated More, Home and Back buttons.

Unfortunately, at the moment, I don't have any information about the available case colors, or how much the HTC ONE X9 is going to cost, but I'm assuming it's going to be somewhat affordable, despite its high-end specs. Since its A9 model was such a bust, HTC is currently doing all that it can to get back in the customer's good graces (including the launch of a preview program), so the company needs any advantage that it can get.
