Samsung is Reported to be Testing the New Android 4.4.3 Samsung is Reported to be Testing the New Android 4.4.3

And even more news about the South Korean manufacturer. Samsung has already loaded some of it's devices with Android 4.4 KitKat, but the mid-range and low-range models are yet to be updated, which should happen pretty soon. Moreover, recently, the company has been reportedly testing the new Android 4.4.3 on some of the top devices. The reports say that the update is being tested on Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4 while you are reading this article.

It is rather surprising to see that the last year's flagship Galaxy S4 LTE-A is on the update list for Android 4.4.3, as it has not even received the 4.4.2 version. We will likely see the handset jump directly to the latest version of the OS, skipping 4.4.2, which is currently being tested on the device. According to the info obtained by SamMobile, Samsung is working to integrate the OS into its own software at the moment.

An official announcement of the new Android 4.4.3 is awaited to be made at the end of May, or in June. And, perhaps, right after Google I/O, Samsung will roll out the update for the flagships in question. The same report claims that the older devices like Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Mega 5.8 and Galaxy Mega 6.3 are on the final stage of testing Android 4.4.2 and will get the update in June.
